With awareness and concern for its residents, the Parish Council of São Domingos de Rana has a Psychology Service, where the mental health and well-being of the population are the main objective.

Being Psychology an indispensable science to the community, in its intervention research could not be left aside. The São Domingos de Rana Parish Council intends to develop some projects already planned, where the social conditions of the inhabitants of its parish will have space to be critically pondered, valuing the role and responsibility of the clinical psychologist in the direct work with the population.

With the fundamental goal of giving an immediate response to the need felt by the population in greater social and economic vulnerability, the municipality, as an agent promoting well-being, has invested in the creation of this therapeutic response.

In this prevention clinic, psychotherapy, parental counseling, couple's therapy and speech therapy services will be available to all citizens aged 4 and over.

For the sake of accessibility to the greater number of people, the price per consultation is 18 euros.

The clinics are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 10pm, and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

The clinics are located in Tires and Abóboda, but appointments must be booked at the Town Hall office or by calling 214 549 190.
