On June 7th arrived at Olhar de Prata, in Avenida da Liberdade, the painting collection "Travelling is Allowed", by Ruy Silva. The artist marked his presence in the shop on the opening day, and his works will be on display until June 30.

Ruy Silva, born 1974 in Viseu, graduated in Visual and Technological Education, was a teacher of Creative Expressions and Integrated Expressions at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Viseu and, later, in the doctorate "Painting - reference point, image-design", at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Salamanca. Thus concluded, he assumes his unique activity as an artist and designer of furniture and lighting.

"It is Permitted to Travel" is a capsule collection inspired by the art of Murane glass, which, in the words of the painter, came "to break the figuration that has so characterised his 32-year career".

For Olhar de Prata, it is an "enormous pleasure to be associated with this initiative and to help in the dissemination of enriching projects of cultural and artistic scope". They also believe that it is "an added value for customers to have the opportunity to see these works".
