The Diamond team had the pleasure of spending the weekend at the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, to bring you the best of what they experienced there.

Captivated by the beauty and grandeur of luxury as soon as we stepped through the lobby doors, the friendliness and excellence of the service were undeniable throughout our stay.

When we arrived at the Maritime Suite, with a panoramic view of the Águas Livres Aqueduct, we checked-in in the suite, a premium service available only in the most special suites of the Hotel.

In 96m2 of pure comfort and elegance, we were dazzled by a decoration allusive to the marine theme in fresh and subtle touches of blue and brown in a palette of warm whites that make the living and dining area, the bedroom, the wardrobe, the office and the two bathrooms cohesive and harmonious.

With our appetite already worked up, we headed for lunch at the Soul Garden where we were warmly welcomed with a tasting menu suggested by Lucas Ferreira, consisting of a goat cheese salad, chicken and vegetable gyosas, prawn tacos, prawn tempura and sashimi accompanied by a fresh red fruit lemonade and an invigorating pineapple juice. To finish, we were delighted by the cheesecake with raspberry sorbet that inevitably stayed in our memory for a long time.

At dinner, we went down to the Erva Terrace Restaurant, a sensorial experience, feeling that we were in an opulent and intimate garden where the meal deserves the ideal setting. At Jorge Silva's suggestion, we start very well with a burrata with fresh truffle and cod tempura with garlic and citrus mayonnaise. We moved on to the country chicken with mushroom rice and the ribs to eat by the spoonful with mashed sweet potatoes, which was the tastiest it would be unfair to try and name.

Watching the city go dark and retiring to a majestic bed was the happiest possible ending to an already special day.

But nothing compares to waking up on the 17th floor in the capital, surrounded by good taste and letting yourself be infected by the serenity of our wonderful suite.

Speaking of serenity, in the SPA we received, by the hands of Andreia and Joana, a relaxing massage that proved to be the very definition of well-being.

Those who already have this habit will certainly understand that, since the day was going so wonderfully, we couldn't resist visiting the hotel's 24h gym, for a complete workout with a wonderful view to the garden.

With our bodies already invigorated and wide awake, nothing says perfect Sunday like a nice brunch.

The setting was the Soul Garden and the food was, as throughout the stay, impeccable.

Suggested by André Costa, we tasted a menu consisting of a Greek yoghurt with muesli and red fruits, a toast of cured salmon and ricotta cheese, a poached egg in Alentejo bread with avocado, lime juice and togarashi among drinks worthy of accompanying them.

After checking out, we had the privilege of ending our experience in a calm afternoon dedicated to the art of leisure in the indoor pool with outdoor solarium, which in good company were the perfect end to a Corinthian weekend.

As in any unforgettable moment, the preterite phase is to leave already missing it, and so we are sure we will return very soon.
