Lamborghini Urus S

Arriving to compete with Ferrari's SUV Purosangue, when electrics take over the road, the Urus S promotes itself through the performance of its V8 biturbo engine. What seems like a nonsense is Lamborghini's bet for 2023 on a new version of the luxury sports utility vehicle that has proved a hit in its portfolio.

Like the Performante, the predecessor, the Urus S has the same 4.0 V8 twin-turbo engine and a power of 666 hp, reaching 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, is a top speed 305 km/h. Readjusted, the exhaust system reminds us that the Urus S is a pure Lamborghini, with a more distinctive sound on start-up, and a sharper note in each driving mode.

The chassis characteristics provide supersport-level flexible performance and stability on the asphalt and dynamic balance in off-road driving. Added value that combines everyday driving pleasure with optimum performance.

The notes describing the exterior design underline the sophistication and yet the sporty and equally luxurious personality of the Urus S. As the house of Sant'Agata Bolognese was keen to note, the renewal of the Urus offers "a significant increase in options", whether in the colour palette, the diversity of finishes, the packages and even the rims. There are no limits to tailor this SUV to the customer's taste, as the AD Ad Personam services adjust any detail to the customer's will.

The interior also presents new proposals in terms of colours and finishes, including solutions already available on the Urus Performante, such as the two-tone Sportivo and Sophisticated coverings. In terms of connectivity, the Urus S allows remote access to the vehicle from a smartphone or smartwatch.

With no market launch date in 2023, Lamborghini's new temptation will appeal to discerning drivers who prioritise comfort on the road.
