We sailed at Vilamoura Boat Show

For a week, Vilamoura gained a new life.

The Vilamoura Marina International Boat Show, an open-air event organised by the AIP Foundation and the Vilamoura Marina, worked its magic at an exhibition with more than 100 boats in about 30 exhibitors and more than 50 brands represented.

This 23rd edition made possible an already felt desire, both in the public and in the brands, with its touristic and commercial potential being much more successful than in the 2019 edition, where restrictions were not yet part of normality.

Taking advantage of the tide, this event was also the stage for the international launch of some new models.

The Azimut 53 Fly, for example, had its Worldwide Première in the waters of Vilamoura. Also the Finnmaster T9, the PLAY 24 and the SUPREME 27 from the Danish brand RAND, the Sun Concept EVO 7.0 Lounge and the Tigé Z3, model 2021, were presented for the first time in Portugal.

In addition to the display of boats from the main brands in the sector, three side events were organised simultaneously.

To start the week in great shape, Easy Rentall and Dom Pedro Hotels brought us the 1st Boat Show Golf Tournment, which counted with 26 players and an audience of about 100 people, to revive Dom Pedro Old Course.

Organized by Inframoura, The Village Market brought together several fashion, design and decoration brands with a varied offer in an unpretentious outdoor setting, where style and good taste speak as loudly as the sea air.

And for adrenaline lovers, the Vilamoura Marina International Boat Show Regatta 2021, organised by the Vilamoura Marina International Club - CIMAV, with the support of the Vilamoura Marina and the Associação Regional de Vela do Sul, took place between Vilamoura and Albufeira, and was an unequivocal success.

The Vilamoura Marina International Boat Show has made an unquestionable contribution to the Algarve's economic and tourist recovery, as can be seen by the interest shown by all those involved in the event.

With the same success in mind, we look forward to the next edition, in June 2022, in Vilamoura Marina.
